You presented me with hope and faith.
Fox and Friends Weekend

As quoted from Fox News: U.S. Navy Lt. Commander Bashon Mann took to social media to express gratitude to the anonymous fellow diner who picked up his family's tab during a birthday dinner for his six-year-old daughter, and his Facebook post has gone viral.

On "Fox and Friends Weekend" this morning, Mann explained that at the celebratory meal at Mi Rancho in Silver Springs, Maryland, on Wednesday, he was dressed in his uniform at his daughter's request, since she never gets to see him wearing it.

During the meal, the waiter informed Mann that their check was taken care of and thanked him for his service.

The waiter, however, wouldn't reveal the identity of the generous stranger who picked up their tab.

Mann was so touched by the random act of kindness that he was inspired to write a heartfelt open letter on Facebook.

"Just saying 'thank you' is really not enough," Mann explained this morning.

"It made me think about a lot of other things, just quieted the negative noise. It's good to see something positive," he said.
